Diet

Generally I’ve found that diets will get some weight off but don’t get you to your/my goal. I have used some of the specialty meal plans that were some what effective dropping 20+lbs over 6 months more because I ate less than my normal meals and snacks. I had always felt hungry with these plans and when given the chance would pig out. Karen and I started a no carb/low carb diet in  winter of 2008 this was something like the Adkins diet but not the full blown process. Basically what we did was 2 weeks of no-carbs then slowly each week add back in some low carb foods we both dropped weight fast and have tended to keep it off with the low-carb diet.

One thing to remember is that a diet plan works best when incorporated with an exercise plan.
